Chillin’ The Doggies

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort Zone® products for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

This is Bones

When we moved here from Miami, we brought two dogs with us. One is our daughter’s dog, Bones. The other is the family’s dog, Pecan. My daughter is in college so obviously both dogs are the family dogs but I am calling Bones our daughter’s dog because she babied him so much. She was there when he was born and has carried him like an infant ever since. Then we took both these dogs from suburban Miami to the mountains of Southern California.

The two dogs have very different personalities. Bones is a lump with fur. When he barks, he has a large, baritone howl that is disproportionate to his 20 pound size. By way of an attack dog, he is more likely to trip a burglar because he keeps laying on him. Because he was so coddled, Bones has huge separation issues. Now Pecan is a different matter. She is, to use the term nicely, high strung. Step over her and she freaks. Lay down a coffee cup to hard so that it makes a noise and she freaks. Wind blows east to west instead of west to east and she freaks. Most of the time I have no clue what she is barking at.

We started using Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® to calm the dogs and I think that it works. Bones is just as lumpy as always but he has not lost his mind when we leave the house. And Pecan is all kinds of chill. Here barking has been cut in half.

Also the Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® works on cats and is 95% effective in reducing cat urination and scratching. The D.A.P. part stands for Dog Appeasing Pheromones which is the part that calms my doggies. Take a look and follow them on Facebook. Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® is available at PetSmart and Petco, independent pet stores and online.
