Just Be Enough

Real Relationship Advice

Apparently, 2013 is starting with a bang. In the last few weeks I have been offered many opportunities and I am very excited to get to share my message of mental health and positivity to a whole new audience. I was recently asked to join the awesome team of Just.Be.Enough as a contributor. This new site is all about empowerment, enthusiasm and supporting one another in growing and accepting our own awesomeness.

My role is simple, share my story. Can I say that I have arrived? No. Can I say that I have attained enlightenment and self-actualized and all I need is the white robes and a perch on the mountain? Hardly. What I can say is that I have had a glimpse into my essence and what I saw was good. What I saw was amazing. What I saw was everything I needed to become the best me I could possibly be.

The amazing founder and editor of Just.Be.Enough, Elena Sonnino, has asked her contributors to come up with three words that will be the thread of each post. My three words will be Walking Talking Possibility. There is a story attached to these words which I will happily share on Just.Be.Enough. Suffice it to say, these words were transformational to me and I hope my story helps others on their path to transformation as well.

I am in great company at Just Be Enough: Here is a list of contributors and their sites. I hope you pay them a visit.

Elena at Live.Do.Grow.
Lee at CoupleDumb
Kimberly at Rubber Chicken Madness
Kirsten at One Tough Mom
Robin at Farewell Stranger
Stephanie at My Write Side
Tara at Thin Spiral Notebook
Stacey at Stacey’s Mothering Moments
Tracie at From Tracie
Tricia at Raising Humans
Alexa at No Holding Back
Missy at Literal Mom
Angela at Tread Softly
Kirsten at The Kir Corner

My journey is taking me in a million different directions but the underlying theme is the same; when I am all I can be and do all that I can do I will have all that I need.

Mental health is such a tough thing to even comprehend for most people. Yeah the mental health system needs to be looked at, but not just in the USA, in the UK too.
I’m currently writing a book ( there’s a little blurb here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXIAI3iqhLY ) that is hopefully set to inspire, motivate and educate when it comes to mental health illnesses. I think the first step is to stop making it such a massive taboo subject! Half of the people I know, even friends of mine, wouldn’t share a single link to do with my book or project because they don’t want to be tarred with the same brush. It’s such a shame that people don’t realise the implications.
