Tag Kindergarten

My baby, Ricky, has big shoes to fill. His big sister is in college and is considered a walking encyclopedia. Her nickname is “Fun Facts”. My oldest son, 8, is gifted. He is in 3rd grade and reading at a high school level. He also is doing algebra for fun. Ricky is my baby. Ricky has this opinion of himself that we find bizarre; he doesn’t think he is smart. We have no idea where he has heard this or why he would believe it since he has an amazing vocabulary and a memory that would rival an elephant. But he does.

Tag Human Body From Leap Frog

I have three kids ages 19, 8 and 5. My oldest is in college. Having the big age disparity is tough on them in many respects. The biggest hardship is watching the two youngest say “goodbye” to their sister. It is so tough that even my youngest has questioned why anyone goes to college. So the Leap Frog Tag system was a perfect way to have them refocus on their education and also get them excited about going to school and college someday.

Me And My Oral B

So, I got an Oral-B Professional Care SmartSeries 5000 with SmartGuide toothbrush to review. Let’s just call this my power toothbrush. When Lee asked me how it was, I answered with one word: aggressive. I do not use this word lightly nor do I use it in a negative connotation. Aggressive means that something is happening and it is happening now. You use the word aggressive to describe a good attorney.

If you’re like my family, you understand allergies. Both of us need daily allergy medication. Our oldest son showed the signs of allergies when he was still an infant. At the age of three, allergy tests confirmed it. He was like his Dad who has a laundry list of allergies. Our youngest seems to just suffer from seasonal allergies. With Springtime in bloom, we are feeling every bud, flower and new growth in our neighborhood. Claritin is a staple at our home and the only way we can survive this time of year without being hermits.

StyleUnited

We write about relationships. As a big woman, I will admit that I tend to avoid the fashion or style sites because they hardly ever speak to me. I am not a size two. I am not a fashion maven. I am comfortable. I am me. This is why when SheSpeaks asked for me to review the new site StyleUnited I can honestly say I said , ‘Pass’. But, sometimes we need to go outside of our comfort zone both personally and professionally. Sometimes the big girls need to wear white and the intellectuals can allow themselves a little fun.

My New Power Toothbrush

Apparently, I am pretty good looking. That statement took a lot of therapy and the love of a good woman to say. I am not a Greek god but my waist is smaller than my chest, my hair is my own and firmly affixed to the top of my head, and there is a twinkly of happiness in my eyes (thanks to the love of the aforementioned good woman). I am honest enough in my vanity to say that most of my health routine is for ascetic purposes. I want to look good for Lee so I eat well and exercise.

Changing Behavior

CoupleDumb has been providing our readers relationship information and advice for over 3 years. All of our writing is based on the premise that people reading are willing to make changes to their behaviors so that they can achieve happiness in their relationships. We know that is a huge assumption but then again, why would you seek information without a working understanding that you may need to change. The self-help book section in your local book store is chock full of information that may or may not speak to you. Unfortunately, for many of those books, the questions that you are seeking answers to must be clearly defined for any of them to make sense to you.
