50 Things I have learned in 50 years – Day 32
There is less than a month until I turn 50. As we enter December and my 50th birthday looms like the shiny lights all over my house, I feel even more compelled to share what I have learned. Sure, some lessons have been better than others but lessons learned nonetheless.
I know you’re thinking, ‘Did you learn anything about love and stuff?’ Which brings me to #32
You are a force. Use it for good.
Everyone has a gift. I firmly believe that. Everyone has something that they are good at. I believe it is our purpose in life to find that one thing and do it. If we all used these gifts to create a better world, we could fix this planet in one morning and have plenty of time to take a nap in the afternoon. So you are a great knitter….knit something for the homeless. So you are a great writer…write something that moves people. So you are a great cook…feed the hungry. Do it for the good of all. Share this gift. Not just during the holidays but every day.
Come back for the next 18 days and see what else I have learned.
